I want Dragon Mage too! But what is it?
Dragon Mage is a side scrolling arcade style shoot-em-up type
game. It is being developed in pure 32-bit protected mode assembly
language. This results in very fluid animation and allows us to use
high quality digital music.
3D raytraced graphics are being used to give the animated
characters real depth with smooth lifelike animation. The music is
being composed by a professional composer who has worked in the
TV/movie world for years, so the music will be very atmospheric.
The game will probably be released as shareware. The expected minimum
system is 486 w/GUS, though with a SB you may need a faster
computer. We plan on supporting all major digital sound cards, however
expect wavetable cards such as the Gravis Ultrasound to have the best
performance.
